This summer 2020 has been much slower for our little family and we haven’t had nearly as many adventures as last year. You may have noticed a lack of activity on the blog and my social media accounts. I’ve been trying to look after myself after repeated mastitis as well as trying to manage Jett and getting her weight up. The heavy smoke haze also kept us inside a lot over summer.
In lieu of our lack of adventures I thought I’d post these pictures from 2019 when I was pregnant and we attended the harvest festival at Lavandula Lavender Farm. The day was hot but we sat under the trees and enjoyed a picnic as well as purchased some Lavender, chased butterflies and tried to stop the boys picking the fruit trees. Hopefully there’ll be more adventures soon but in the meantime I am spending most days at home doing the usual unglamorous jobs that keep the kids clean and fed!

It was so pretty. I learnt a lot about lavender. There are so many different kinds in different colours. There was beautiful lavender food too including lavender ice cream!
